Holiday Apartments

boisdelatour

At the center of the estate stands the old Tour, which today serves as a private residence. Behind it lies the historic farmhouse, now transformed into four charming holiday homes. The former tobacco barn has been given a second life as a characterful complex with six gîtes. Adjacent to this is an additional gîte that is fully accessible for wheelchair users, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a stay on our estate.

The final distinctive building is an old barn that has been converted into an atmospheric space with an upper floor. It houses our bistro and shop. The kitchen of the bistro was added later, allowing us to welcome and treat our guests with regional dishes and our own wines.

Holiday Homes in the Former Farmhouse

The former farmhouse has been converted into four charming holiday homes, each with its own character and comfort:

* Merlot – suitable for 6 guests
* Cabernet – suitable for 4 guests
* Sauvignon and Sémillon – each suitable for 2 guests

All homes combine authentic charm with modern amenities, making them the perfect base to enjoy the peace, landscape, and unique atmosphere of our estate.

Studios in the Former Tobacco Barn

Our six studios are comfortably furnished in the former tobacco barn, the most recent building on the estate. While the Dordogne was once known for its vineyards, a disease led to the decline of wine production. Many winegrowers turned to tobacco cultivation, which led to the construction of this building. In the 1980s, it was converted into apartments.

Layout and Capacity

Each studio is identical in size and layout and designed for four guests. A sofa bed can be used to accommodate a fifth guest if needed.

On the ground floor, there is a living area with an open kitchen and French doors leading to a covered terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, 4-burner gas stove, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, and all necessary kitchenware.

Upstairs, you will find the bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and washbasin. From the bedroom, French doors lead to a second covered terrace with beautiful views over the vineyard.

The two outer studios are named Chenin and Colombard. In the central section, there are four studios named after grape varieties: Muscadelle, Artaban, Syrah, and Merille.

Malbec – Accessible Holiday Home

Next to the tobacco barn, an additional apartment has been created: Malbec.

This holiday home is fully adapted for guests with reduced mobility and is wheelchair-friendly. Parking is available directly next to the property, and a paved terrace is located at the front.

The home features a spacious living room with an open kitchen. Adjacent are the bedroom and bathroom, both designed with wide doorways for optimal accessibility.

This accommodation offers maximum comfort and convenience for wheelchair users, as well as for guests who prefer single-level living. It ensures that every guest can enjoy a relaxed and pleasant stay on our estate.
